TECHNICAL OVERVIEW
The Pace 500.3 comes out of the box as a Class II ebike, with pedal assist and throttle. It can be unlocked to a Class III ebike. The Pace 500.3 will also operate with the throttle unplugged and removed, should you want to ride in an area where throttles are prohibited. Aventon ebikes are built to the IPX4 water-resistant standard. IPX4 means that your bike is resistant to water splashes from any direction. This means itâs OK to ride your ebike in light rain. It wonât be harmed by spray from a wet road or raindrops. Your ebike is not intended to be exposed to prolonged rain, be submerged, or subjected to a pressurized spray. Donât use a pressure washer or sprayer to clean your ebike. *Max range determined using PAS Eco throughout flat terrain with a rider weight of 160 lb.

It's a great bike for me. Very easy to ride, and maintain. I live in
an area that has lots of hills. No problem for me and the bike. I
should mention that I'm 78, and hadn't ridden a bike for 10 years.
I have neuropathy in both feet, but again as the bike is step-thru, I have
no problem getting on and off. It's also very smart looking.
I was out twice so far and love it ! Easy riding no effort pedal assist in tour mode
The assisted modes provide exactly the support I want and need on longer stretches of road or up nasty hills. Good commuter bike, being able to limit the max speed is useful on paths. With the battery life I probably wont have to charge it for months at a time!
I have owned 5 e-bikes. This is without a doubt, my favorite! Very comfortable to ride. A little difficult for me to get used to the left hand thumb throttle, but certainly offers standout performance. An excellent choice and I'm very happy to be a House of Bikes client!
