OUR TAKE

The Eunorau FAT-AWD is an electric fat bike designed for cruising in challenging conditions with ease. Its main feature is the dual-motors powering both front and rear wheels. This allows you to climb hills with ease, using the throttle only, something that single motor e-bikes simply struggle to do. Naturally, traction on both 4.0” fat tires means floating over snow, sand and other loose terrain is much easier than single motor fat bikes.

Other nice features include a suspension seat post for comfort, fenders, rear rack and front & rear lights. You can upgrade the base 15.6Ah lithium battery to a large-capacity 25Ah one for extra range. Additional bells and whistles are kept to a minimum which helps keeps the cost low. You’d be hard pressed to find such a budget-friendly, all-wheel drive e-bike from another company.

We suspect the 24” tire version may be a better fit for shorter riders, although the size charts show the same dimensions as the 26” one. Also, the bike comes with adequate 160mm mechanical disc brakes. You can upgrade to massive 203mm hydraulic disc brakes which may be overkill on this bike, but it’s doable nevertheless. They’ll require installation and won’t be fitted to the bike upon delivery.

600W Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive – Brushless rear 350W motor + front 250W motor offer 600W of continuous power (850W peak) and 105 Nm torque. Both motors can be operated together or independently with a handlebar-mounted switch

350W Rear hub motor – With 500W peak power and 60 Nm of torque, it is powerful enough to propel the bike on it’s own, with pedal assist, or in conjunction with the front motor.

250W Front hub motor – With 350W peak power and 45 Nm of torque, it is powerful enough to propel the bike on its own, with pedal assist, or in conjunction with the rear motor.

15.6Ah Removable Lithium Battery – A game changer that offers convenience when re-charging. Upgradeable to 25Ah for extra long range. Both batteries are removable with a simple twist of the key, so you can charge them indoors and prevent theft.

Suspension Seat Post – Increases your comfort while riding over the road’s imperfections.

LED Headlight – Powered using the main battery pack and controlled by the handlebar switch. Ensure your riding safety at night, never having to worry about charging or replacing batteries at the end of a long day.

Shimano Altus 7 speed freewheel – There is a larger cog for up-hill riding and a smaller cog for high-speed riding. Speed can be easily adjusted with the pedal-assist system.

Included Front & Rear Fenders with Rack – Highly useful fenders will keep yourself and your bike clean. They come with an integrated taillight, and if you ever need to carry some extra gear, don’t worry - just strap it on the rear rack.
